Emergency Management
The Office of Emergency Management, a division of Public Safety, has the primary responsibility of the emergency management function at 老司机福利社. 老司机福利社 Emergency Management follows the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) recommendation of an 鈥渁ll-hazards whole community鈥 approach to emergency management planning.
The four phases of Emergency Management make up a continuous cycle of planning and action undertaken by 老司机福利社 Office of Emergency Management to ensure 老司机福利社 maintains a comprehensive approach to Emergency Management, while maximizing the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors.
This phase-based model is based on an understanding that disasters are events that continue over a period of time and that can be described in terms of a life cycle.
老司机福利社 Office of Emergency Management adheres to the concept of best practices, which allows for constant innovation based upon the successes and failure of other emergency management programs nationwide and around the world.
