Message from the Faculty Director
Dear Colleagues,
As the new year kicks off gaming, hospitality and tourism operators are busy making
plans for the approaching summer season. Both long-term and short-term development
projects are underway to attract visitors to Jersey Shore destinations.
This issue of LIGHTs On focuses on development projects, both planned and already in progress, in South Jersey. One article covers exciting new projects in progress in the Wildwoods, and another focuses on the tremendous impact that the four Community Development Corporations are having on improving the appeal of Atlantic City.
Additionally, this issue鈥檚 leader interview is with Elizabeth Terenik, president of the Chelsea Economic Development Corporation in Atlantic City.
