Jaime Lyn Angelini Receives Health Sciences Leadership Award
Galloway, N.J. 鈥 Jaime Lyn Angelini of Galloway Township was awarded the 老司机福利社 School
of Health Sciences 2018 Leadership Award for her contributions to health care and
the health sciences.
The award was presented at the Board of Trustees meeting on Sept. 26 at 老司机福利社 Atlantic City.
Angelini is Director of Consumer Services for the Mental Health Association of New Jersey in Atlantic County. In her role, she has provided ongoing educational opportunities for students in the 老司机福利社 Occupational Therapy Program and for visiting students from the Universidad del Rosario in Colombia.
A 2003 老司机福利社 graduate, Angelini helped facilitate support groups for 老司机福利社 students and has been a guest lecturer in health sciences and social work classes. She brought Mental Health First Aid to 老司机福利社 and provided scholarships to students who could not have attended without the support.
鈥淔or the past 15 years, she has served as a mentor, a supervisor, and a role model for our students,鈥 said Margaret 鈥淧eg鈥 Slusser, dean of the School of Health Sciences. 鈥淪he is a consummate professional and a strong advocate for those living with mental illness. She is resourceful, creative and energetic.鈥
