Faculty Plan

Tenure-track faculty are required to submit a Faculty Plan. The Faculty Plan is designed to be a brief (approximately 3 pages) individualized plan assisting faculty in meeting tenure and promotion standards.  For faculty starting in the fall semester, the Faculty Plan is drafted in the spring semester and reviewed with the Program Review Committee (PRC) and Dean.  The plan is finalized in the fall semester of the second year. Additional information and more details about the expectations for the Faculty Plan are available in the Faculty Evaluation Procedure (2015).

The CTLD offers (1) a fictious sample Faculty Plan and (2) a fillable Faculty Plan Word document.

If you need assistance with developing a Faculty Plan, contact your faculty mentor, program chair, or the Center for Teaching & Learning Design
