The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) program gives New Jersey students who have the motivation and potential to succeed in college but who are educationally and financially disadvantaged an opportunity to attend college. EOF is a special academic support program for students meeting certain financial and academic requirements.

 

Undergraduate Eligibility 

  1. Must demonstrate an educationally and economically disadvantaged background

  2. Be a New Jersey resident 12 consecutive months prior to receiving the award

  3. Apply and be accepted to a participating New Jersey college or university, such as 老司机福利社

  4. Meet the academic criteria as set by the institution of choice

  5. Be seeking full-time admission

  6. File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application. 老司机福利社University鈥檚 FAFSA code is 009345. Additional documents may be requested as part of the verification process.

  7. Have the ability to attend a five-week, residential summer program that focuses on academic preparedness, interpersonal skills, and leadership development.

  8. Gross income and assets must fall within the criteria shown below:

How to Apply

 

  1. First-time applicants interested in EOF should first complete The Common Application and select the "EOF Interest" section on the application. 

  2. EOF applicants are eligible to apply test optional, following the same general policy: Test scores are required for certain exempt majors.

Admission into the 老司机福利社 - EOF program is contingent upon eligibility and availability of funds. We accept applications for the fall and spring terms. 老司机福利社 has two EOF programs.

Both programs offer the same foundational services and support. The Atlantic City program has a focus on leadership development via service-learning, civic engagement, and career readiness. EOF-AC transfer scholars are required to complete 10 hours of service-learning per semester.

Transfer students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application. 老司机福利社鈥檚 FAFSA code is 009345. 

If you are already enrolled in the EOF program at another school and decide to transfer to 老司机福利社, you should:

  1. Complete the

  2. Ask your EOF advisor from your previous institution to send an EOF Transfer Form to the 老司机福利社 EOF program you are interested in via e-mail or fax (our contact information is listed below).

  3. Attend an information session (email with information will be provided).

  4. Submitting a Transfer Application does not guarantee admission or program funding. Funding and space is limited.
