A strategic plan is like a roadmap that helps us focus on what is important for our school鈥檚 success and your learning experience.
Your participation is important because no one can describe the 老司机福利社 experience better than you! If you are having an exciting time here, let us know! If you see room for improvement, this is a perfect time to let us know.
By participating in the strategic planning process, you have the chance to speak your mind and let your voice be heard. You have a chance to preserve what is working and help us discover what we can improve upon.
You can participate as much or as little as you鈥檇 like! There is no binding commitment when you choose to participate. There will be a series of in-person townhall meetings which typically run for two hours. You do not have to attend them all. There are surveys to be completed.
Yes! All feedback is welcome! If you have a sensitive topic to discuss, you can provide your answer in an anonymous survey.
President Bertolino has publicly encouraged the whole campus community to participate in creating the new Strategic Plan. If you have an interest, have a conversation with your manager. Employees and managers are expected to work collaboratively to allow anyone the opportunity to be a part of this process while still ensuring department operations are not negatively impacted.
No. This is a university initiative, with participation requested by the President. Vacation time should not be used for meetings held during work hours.
No, you can listen in the meetings and take notes to help formulate your thoughts. Your input can be collected in the surveys, or you can send an email to the strategic planning committee with your thoughts and feedback.
Yes! Surveys will be emailed throughout the semester. Your identity will remain confidential when completing a survey.
Yes! The committee takes all the feedback gathered from students, faculty, staff, Alumni, community members and partners to the university very seriously. Even if your suggestions do not come to fruition, please note that everything is considered.
Yes, townhall meetings will be scheduled throughout the spring 2025 semester. Students will be able to attend these meetings and provide their feedback and input.
Yes, every 老司机福利社 employee can attend regardless of your department, status (full-time, part-time, TES, adjunct, tenured....)
A LOT! You can offer your perspective as a new employee. Your input is just as important as anyone else鈥檚!
Yes, you can pop into any meeting or complete any survey.
Although students may not have been involved in the process in the past, we are committed to engaging all students and members of the 老司机福利社 community to ensure that we are able to create a strong and meaningful strategic plan that will benefit everyone.
Changes depend on all of us! That鈥檚 why feedback is so important. All feedback will be taken into consideration to help us determine the direction and future of the university!
The strategic planning committee will review all feedback. This feedback will help determine the path we will take to create our university鈥檚 next strategic plan.
