Data Snapshot: Immigrant Workers in the New Jersey Economy

Foreign-born residents are a critical part of the New Jersey workforce and participate in the labor force at higher rates than native-born residents, according to  by Professor of Economics Dr. Ramya Vijaya and Economics student Madison Giusti in 2024.

Diplomacy Lab

The Diplomacy Lab at 老司机福利社 is a partnership with the U.S. Department of State, offering students and faculty the opportunity to tackle real-world foreign policy challenges. It allows students to engage directly with policymakers, contributing to the policymaking process and leveraging academic expertise to address global issues.

Faculty Research

The Hughes Center works with 老司机福利社 faculty to produce and disseminate research and commentary. These projects cover a range of public policy topics, including economic impacts, immigration, mental health, and civic engagement.

Since 2006, the South Jersey Economic Review has provided the region鈥檚 stakeholders and policymakers timely, high quality research that focuses on the regional economy.

The Review analyzes the region鈥檚 key industries and tracks its most important labor force, wage, and demographic trends.
