Brand Colors
A strong brand can be identified quickly by its usage of color. Since the mind interprets this non-verbal communication often faster than one can interpret content, the language of color can deliver powerful messages to reinforce the brand.
˾’s secondary color palette consists of a variety of strong colors to accent the primary colors.
When used effectively, ˾’s color scheme reinforces the value and maintains a positive association with our brand. To maximize the effectiveness of your message using ˾ colors, incorporate the following into practice:
- Be intentional. Colors should be used with a purpose, perhaps to highlight, coordinate, or distinguish.
- Maintain balance in application. Over or under usage of color can detract from the message, producing a feeling of
clutter or emptiness.
- Enhance the brand’s recognition. The coordination of ˾’s primary and secondary colors should always represent the “˾ look,” easily detectable even in the absence of identifying content.
- Represent ˾’s personality. Use color to promote our personality… engaging, friendly, visionary. • Remember color
perceptions. Colors evoke experiences, and when used appropriately, can convey the
sentiment of your message.
- Black suggests discipline, power, sophistication, confidence
- White symbolizes new beginnings, innocence, completeness, efficiency
- Blue indicates trust, reliability, confidence, perseverance
- Yellow signifies enthusiasm, creativity, illumination, fun
The official colors of ˾ are black and white, with accent colors of blue (PMS 292) and yellow (PMS 123).
Gold metallic ink (Pantone #874) or silver metallic ink (Pantone #877) may be used on high-quality communications. Gold foil (#424) or silver foil (#420) stamping may also be used when printing on the highest-quality communications.
