Here is what we are doing to keep the 老司机福利社 community safe and healthy:
- In light of updated federal and state guidelines on COVID-19, 老司机福利社 strongly recommends but no longer requires employees and students to be vaccinated against the virus, effective Monday, June 19, 2023.
- 老司机福利社 offers a predominantly face-to-face academic experience with additional course modalities available, including online and hybrid. Course modalities, chosen by the instructor of record, are listed on the current course schedule.
- There are extensive safety protocols in place. but recommended for of all students, employees and visitors.

Official ADA Accommodations:鈥疭tudents who believe they require accommodation due to a documented disability and would like services must register with the Learning Access Program鈥(LAP). When a student self-discloses their disability to the Learning Access Program, they also need to submit dated documentation that identifies the student鈥檚 diagnosed disability, functional limitations, and suggested accommodations.鈥疶his鈥痙ocumentation will be reviewed during a personal intake interview with a鈥疞AP鈥痗oordinator. Accommodations are designed to provide equal access for academic success while maintaining the program standards.鈥

Informal Modifications: Faculty may consider informal adjustments to individual student requests in the faculty member鈥檚 class; however, student requests for accommodations must continue to follow the University鈥檚 existing ADA 础肠肠辞尘尘辞诲补迟颈辞苍鈥process through the LAP. 老司机福利社 monitors the guidance of both the New Jersey Department of Health and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the use of face masks to help reduce the risk of COVID-19. Based on present conditions,鈥masks are optional but recommended鈥痮n 老司机福利社鈥檚 campuses.

老司机福利社 monitors the guidance of both the New Jersey Department of Health and the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the use of face masks to help reduce the risk of COVID-19.
- Masks are optional but recommended for 老司机福利社 students, employees and visitors in campus building, shuttles and other indoor facilities.
- Masks may be available at the Campus Center Information Desk.
- Faculty may require masks to be worn in their academic classes, studios, clinicals and labs. Students must respect and comply with such instructions. Faculty can submit an should they experience a significant challenge with compliance.
- Employees are not required to wear masks during work meetings or in common work areas. Individuals may request others to wear a mask when meeting. Please be understanding and considerate of such requests.
- Masks must be worn when visiting Student Health Services.
Students who cannot safely wear a mask for medical reasons can submit an accommodation request to the鈥 University鈥檚 Learning Access Program.鈥疘f鈥痝ranted, the student will be given an accommodation letter to provide to the course instructor.鈥
Employees seeking an ADA accommodation must submit a request to the鈥 Office of Human Resources. Direct questions about employee ADA accommodations to Bart Musitano, Benefits Manager at bart.musitano@stockton.edu.鈥疘f granted, the employee will be given an accommodation letter to provide to their supervisor.
Individual requests will be reviewed, assessed, and appropriate accommodations determined. Medical documentation may be required.鈥
老司机福利社 follows COVID-19 Safety Protocols per , including:

Cleaning鈥痑苍诲鈥痵anitizing鈥痭on-residential facilities (classrooms, offices, all public and dining areas, athletic facilities, etc.).

Refilling hand sanitizer stations鈥痠n hallways鈥痑苍诲鈥痮ffices, and providing offices with additional supplies like individual hand sanitizers, wipes and plexiglass鈥(if necessary).鈥

Supplying wipes in classrooms, computer labs鈥痑nd meeting spaces.鈥

Providing disposable masks in public spaces.
老司机福利社鈥檚 maintenance and custodial staff clean and disinfect to help reduce the spread of germs on commonly touched surfaces like door handles, sink faucets, handrails, computer stations, etc.
Our dedicated employees can鈥檛 do it alone. We must all do our part by using disinfecting wipes (provided by 老司机福利社) to wipe down common areas to minimize surface transmission of bacteria and germs.
The University has touch-free hand-sanitizer units and waste receptables throughout our campus locations.
All University Contractors and Vendors that provide services at the University (including Chartwells, Follett and Allied Security) must comply with the New Jersey Department of Health public health guidance, and any additional requirements and instructions as directed by the University representative with oversight responsibility for their services. Vendors will ensure their employees follow all necessary organizational, State and University-related COVID-19 safety protocols.
Students. Effective immediately, we will treat COVID-19 in a manner similar to other . If you are experiencing , please remain in your residence hall/apartment (residential students) or do not come to campus (non-residential students). Residential students should discuss how they are going to handle situations where a roommate comes down with the flu, COVID, etc. In the case of an emergency, please contact Public Safety at (609) 652-4390 or dial 911.
Employees. If you are experiencing , please get tested for COVID-19. If you test positive, please go to the Employee tab in the go老司机福利社 Portal to complete the Employee Health Pledge, then follow the emailed instructions you receive. If you test negative, and you do not feel well, please consider using accrued leave. If you test negative and come to campus, please consider wearing a mask.
Vendors. Chartwells, Follett鈥痑nd other鈥痸endors鈥痺ill ensure that鈥痶heir employees鈥痜ollow similar safety protocols.
Although 老司机福利社 does not offer testing on campus, the State of New Jersey maintains a complete list of statewide testing locations on its .鈥
After careful consideration and in alignment with the current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the New Jersey Department of Health, we are transitioning our approach to managing COVID-19 on campus. Effective immediately, we will treat COVID-19 in a manner similar to other respiratory-related viruses.
This means that several protocols, including contact tracing, quarantining, and the requirement for clearance from student health services to return to campus, will no longer be required. Instead, we encourage all members of our university community to remain vigilant and follow the CDC鈥檚 guidelines for preventing the spread of respiratory illnesses.

Domestic Travel:

Approved travel may be modified based upon CDC guidance.

All University guidelines must be followed, including Procedure 6412 University Travel. Planned domestic travel must be approved by both the University (first) and 老司机福利社 University Foundation if Foundation funds are to be used for some or all of the trip cost.

Divisional Executives will be required to approve travel plans in advance. In addition, before travelers make any changes to their approved and confirmed tickets, reservations or plans, they should first consult with Travel through Administration & Finance to ensure they do not invalidate insurance or other protections.鈥

Planned domestic travel is not reimbursable by 老司机福利社 if cancelled for any reason. We highly suggest students and employees purchase insurance or fully refundable tickets on their own behalf.

If approved travelers鈥痑re required to quarantine鈥痜or COVID鈥痶ravel advisory鈥痳easons after they arrive home, and they followed all鈥疷niversity and local guidelines鈥痙uring travel, the鈥疷niversity will not require employees to utilize鈥痑ny personal or sick time and instead, temporary workplace modifications will be provided. University Procedure 6913 Worker鈥檚 Compensation may also apply.

At the discretion of the appropriate Divisional Executive, COVID-related travel expenses may be approved鈥痑s part of the normal budgetary process鈥.

All faculty, staff and students who are approved for domestic travel are required to comply with the health and safety protocols鈥痙uring travel and at the鈥痶ravel destination.鈥
International Travel:

All University guidelines must continue to be followed including Procedure 2008 International Travel.

Once a travel request is approved by Divisional Executive, the Director of the Office of Global Engagement (OGE) and Senior International Officer (SIO) for the University will work with relevant offices on approval and guidelines specific to international destination(s). This may also include or U.S. State Department advisories in addition to the normal criteria used to approve international travel.

Please read the carefully, since travel alerts within countries may differ between regions. The university cannot approve travel to regions under 鈥淒o not travel鈥 alerts even if the country is at a lower level alert.

All approved international travelers are required to carry travel insurance鈥痶hrough coordination with the Office of Global Engagement (OGE). In the case of students on provider programs abroad, OGE will need proof of insurance offered by the provider if the student does not carry the 老司机福利社-approved plan.

All faculty, staff and students鈥痺ho are approved for international travel鈥痑re required to comply with the health and safety protocols in effect鈥痙uring travel and鈥痑t the international destination.鈥
Employee Conference Travel:
- The University continues to encourage professional development for faculty and staff and wants to balance decisions regarding requests for travel with 老司机福利社's commitment to health and safety. Given the current nature of COVID, faculty and staff who travel to a conference and become ill due to COVID will not be reimbursed for expenses beyond the date of the original approved travel, regardless of how or where they contracted the virus. 老司机福利社 will continue to monitor public health conditions and make adjustments to University travel guidelines as necessary.
Study Abroad:

The Director of the Office of Global Engagement (OGE) and Senior International Officer (SIO) for the University, will, under the direction of the Office of the Provost, continue to work with students and relevant offices for guidelines specific to individual countries and/or programs for study abroad.
Decisions regarding potential contingency plans will be the responsibility of the appropriate administrative executives and will be made in accordance with public health guidelines.
In general, 老司机福利社 has three primary courses modalities: in-person, hybrid and online.
All courses have been updated to reflect the expected modality and can be viewed by logging into your GoPortal account.

All student athletes and athletic staff鈥痬ust comply with NCAA protocols鈥(currently consistent with 老司机福利社鈥檚 protocols).鈥

The University has consulted with the Atlantic County Division of Public Health and our partner AtlantiCare regarding the subject of ventilation.
老司机福利社 facilities are in compliance with applicable building codes and in accordance with ASHRE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, Air-conditioning Engineers), the governing standards in which mechanical systems are operated.
The University鈥檚 operational response to the mechanical systems and building ventilation during the ongoing pandemic is:
- Constant maintenance of equipment. 老司机福利社 maintains 100 percent heating and cooling in all occupied buildings, meaning, we move air through our systems at all times.
- Maintaining constant operations and air flow of the equipment.
- Increasing the air exchanges from our standard operations and introducing more 鈥渇resh outside air).
- Surface cleaning diffuser and supplies more frequently, where needed.
- Increase the level of filter systems from a MERV 8 to a MERV 13 (with continued inventory on hand) as well as increase the replacement sequence.
These operations are in compliance with codes and regulations having jurisdiction, and cross referenced with the operational responses of our peer institutions.鈥
Faculty will follow the attendance and leave procedure to address an absence based on illness, need to quarantine, or an emergency situation. When faculty are absent, it may be possible to continue student learning as discussed with the Academic Dean. The following document offers some suggestions to continue student learning during a faculty absence. As appropriate, faculty may consult with the Center for Teaching & Learning Design for additional suggestions to promote student learning.
